PUNCTUALITY

Students are to be in the classroom ready to learn when the tardy bell rings.  Teachers will make a student tardy in Focus if they are late to class. A student is considered truant if he or she misses all or part of a school day without parent or school permission.

Tardies start over again at the beginning of each nine-week grading period.

INTERVENTIONS AND CONSEQUENCES

Number of tardies/consequence(s):

5 – warning and parent phone call

7 – lunch detention in the ISS room

10 – after school Tuesday detention and parent phone call

15 – one day of ISS

Every 5 additional tardies - ISS
